Immense Ray, great bassist, fantastic multi-instrumentalist. more
Derek Shulman
Great artist, but he's the one I admire the least among the Giants: I don't really like his voice, and after the breakup, he could have minded his own business and avoided discovering and launching Slipknot, Pantera, and various other stuff; well, still a great one nonetheless. more
The Wallflowers
Interesting. Very USA. A bit country and a little folk. Great ballads, a bit of boredom here and there. I recommend "Bringing down the horse," with evocative atmospheres and "superior" melodies. more
Bob Dylan
Do I curse if I say I don't like it at all? Many artists consider him a guru, so I imagine there's some good in him. But listening to him, I can't find the good... an irritating voice that has worsened over time. Apocalyptic lyrics, but I'm not interested. Live, it was a deadly bore to the point that I left the stadium after an hour and a half during which he hadn't spoken to the audience even once. Honoring his historical merits, but I prefer his son. more

The Bastard Sons of Dioniso
The great news is that despite being talented media offspring, they have it, especially considering their age. Live, they crush it, they don’t take themselves too seriously, and they play quite decently. I give them my trust, so they don’t throw the opportunity that fate has granted them down the toilet. more

@AnaK: as far as I know, it's a solo artist, a pretty decent pop-folk that clearly caters to a pro-teen audience. more

Memorable sound and touch, which nevertheless made history in the '70s and inspired generations of guitarists. Although relative and outside the realm of artistic stature, he is a great compassionate person, being a founder of the save me campaign, which protects and rescues the foxes that in England still end up shot for the somewhat sadistic pleasure of some violent fricky fro'. more
Flogging Molly
an excellent example of how one can feel the music and Irish culture in their veins even kilometers away, on the Californian coast... captivating! more
Interpol
sometimes listening to them is like entering another world... I give it a 4 but it really deserves a nice 5 for "Rest my chemistry"... more
Secondhand Serenade
If you're feeling down, stay away from them. Unless you want to deal yourself the final blow. Nice "Fall for you," lyrics for young lovers... more
The Perishers
Swedish indie band, not very well-known, but they have their reasons. Punchy lyrics, they have seen some of their songs used as soundtracks in American TV shows, which has gained them more visibility. You have to be in the right mood to listen to them XD more
