The Specials
Best ska-revival band of the '80s in England. The comparison with Madness holds up to a certain point. Less monotonous, more cultured, deeper, and definitely closer to the Jamaican musical roots. more
Peter Green
Peter Green is strangely underrated (especially by many guitarists). Personally, I often find him to be superior to Clapton. At his best, his guitar style seems to me more original, more varied, and above all, more personal. Great also as a composer. more
Mario Biondi
I'll be straightforward: THEY GET ON MY NERVES, HIM AND HIS SO-CALLED JAZZ-SOUL! more
Fëdor Michajlovic Dostoevskij
Forerunner of Nietzsche, forerunner of Kafka and at least half of 20th-century literature, forerunner of Freud and psychoanalysis. Let us bow before the genius of this immense Russian soul. more
Norah Jones
One with a voice like that could sing the TG1 theme and I’d be left speechless. And if she writes it too! A little more sprightliness wouldn't hurt. WELL DONE! more
Morgan
Good musician, questionable character if not useless more
Guns N' Roses
perhaps the best band of the American hard 'n' heavy scene of the 80s that everyone now claims to hate and thinks is mediocre because listening to them feels so "poser" more
Paramore
Given the genre, there is a lot, but a lot worse. more
Silvio Berlusconi
Let's let him work!! He is INVINCIBLE, got it??!! more
Bono
It was "someone"... just like the "U2" were... now he and "they" are nothing but bullshit... just plastic. more
Colour Haze
stoner to be handled with care, prolonged use might mess with your synapses... more
Larry Graham
He invented slapping, and for that alone he deserves an eternal 5. Add to that his role as a cornerstone of Sly & The Family Stone, and then the rating becomes mere formality. more
Eric Burdon
"You know what I'm talking about, Jimi?!?" more
Elvis Presley
UNMEASURABLE. Too cool, too good, too much of a star, too much of an entrepreneur. Excessive in everything. And that voice... if he had written it himself, he would be the messiah. But still, he's not far from it. more
Morgan
he and Tonio Cartonio the martyrs of RAI more
Morgan
it's not all that bad, he's doing fine... more
Morgan
He's not the only singer without a voice. He's not the only songwriter who writes terrible songs. But at least he knows a lot more about music than average, and he’s built an interesting persona practically from scratch. Live with Blu Vertigo, he rocked it (I saw them in '95). Very good at the piano, and an eclectic multi-instrumentalist. Pippa drugs? Who among them doesn't? At least in that regard, he's not "different" as he insists on appearing. more
Morgan
It generates very clear opinions, and mine is positive, but it's a shame that his career has been a downward slope: I loved him madly in Bluvertigo, as a solo artist he was able to give us excellent things, but his foray into television may have ruined him for good. more
Frank Zappa
It's cool to give 5 to Frank Zappa. more
Vasco Rossi
A five-year-old writes better texts. more
