Genesis
In my opinion, the greatest band of all time; I've never felt so many emotions as when I listen to their songs. Immense, brilliant, romantic, baroque, progressive... I have no words to define them. They have produced a myriad of masterpieces: the raw Trespass, the theatrical Nursery Cryme, the perfect Foxtrot, the romantic Selling England, the dark The Lamb, the intimate A Trick Of the Tail, the melancholic Wind & Wuthering, the monumental Seconds Out. The band that I will carry with me forever. more
Pink Floyd
Two psychedelic milestones ("The Piper at the Gates Of Dawn" and "A Saucerful Of Secrets"), a crazy yet monumental live album ("Ummagumma"), the greatest example of symphonic rock ("Atom Heart Mother"), and the beautiful progressive parentheses ("Meddle," "The Dark Side Of The Moon," "Wish You Were Here," "Animals") culminate in two excellent singer-songwriter style records ("The Wall" and "The Final Cut"), establishing Pink Floyd among the greatest rock bands of all time. The rest is a tip. more
Queen
Their first five albums (a perfect blend of hard rock sprinkled with glam glitter and progressive grandiosity) are, I believe, indisputable, from "News Of The World" to "The Game" being more than excellent. After that (from 1982), a simple pop with easy impact, but overall quite good (excluding "Hot Space"). Fantastic is the final epitaph of "Innuendo" (1991). Freddie Mercury is among the greatest voices in the history of rock, no question. more

One with a warm seat and the path already laid out. Not that I have anything against those things, but one with a warm seat and the path already laid out. As for everything else, I don't know him. more
Fabrizio De André
Fantastic poet, one of the greatest storytellers of all time, at times very pleasant. Generally terrible voice, and a grotesque and tiring monotony... Questionable character. And let someone say it, damn it, that he was questionable, not like some idiot who called him "maestro di vita" up here. more
