When things like this happen, what surprises me is that the comments tend to focus more on those who have greater fame rather than on others. Setting aside the fact that I wouldn't compare Winehouse to Cobain or Morrison—though that's merely my personal opinion—there's some truth in saying that there's a bit of hypocrisy in this. English singer‑songwriter from London known for a deep contralto and a blend of soul, R&B and jazz. Broke through with Frank (2003) and the globally successful Back to Black (2006). Won five Grammy Awards in 2008, including Record and Song of the Year for Rehab. Died in 2011.
