I quite like them.
But with metal, as I understand it, they have very little to do with it. more
A more than decent drummer, with the merit of having written one of the most interesting rock (auto)biographies of all time. more
I see that too many people stop at appearances: Rammstein are five-star and even more in their genre. There’s a perfect balance between provocation, theatricality, and the richness of content in their proposal; just read Till Lindemann's lyrics attentively. They have an insane energy, and a genius like Doktor Flake shaping the melodies is no small feat... more
I’m absolutely thrilled by these DePagine where there’s a clear divide between those who wildly praise the group and those who condemn it mercilessly :D more
Commercial, "polished," and overrated by many. However, I believe he is neither the best nor the worst of guitarists, as even though he hasn't brought anything new, he has composed good riffs and decent solos with the Guns before releasing his first solo album, which offers a fair amount of hard rock—very catchy but not too trivial. It’s enough to stop comparing him to other more skilled guitarists to criticize him; I know Emmanuel, Zappa, Satriani, Vai, Knopfler, and Rohads too! more
stuff for 14-year-old spotty teenagers who haven't listened to anything else and think that music, especially metal, is all about that. more
the water was deep and the preacher weak, there were also the peasants who were watching. more
You don't spit on the old Edo. Although he has been overshadowed by some pretty under-the-radar work in the last 20 years, I believe that what he did in the first 20 remains a significant part of the history of our artisanal singer-songwriter scene. more
I only save something nice from the '80s. It could have evolved (certainly not by emulating the father), but instead, it wasted the next 20 years of its career in the most idiotic, repetitive panettone-trash comedy. more
I admit it: in 1998 I watched an entire show of Christian De Sica without getting bored. It was the Parmacotto commercial. more
More than one might think. more
A prominently distinctive personality of the vast English baroque/symphonic Prog scene, memorable for his performances bordering on the theatrical and his songwriting, with a solo discography that features a magnificent soundtrack for the film The Last Temptation of Christ, possessing one of the best voices, which I say for what it’s worth. more
Ridiculous, they relate to music as Cristian De Sica relates to cinema. more
He always knows how to make beautiful songs... he is the best. more
A distinctly prominent personality in the vast English baroque/symphonic prog group, memorable for his performances that border on the theatrical and his singer-songwriter style, a solo discography where a magnificent soundtrack for the film The Last Temptation of... aahh what a blunder, this is not Peter Gabriel's page! more
and who the hell would have ever said that? more
After the Oscar in 1999 it has faded quite a bit... and here I've said it all. 4 for the career. more
Good writer, I read 2 of his mystery novels and they are very enjoyable. As a comedian, he manages. As a film actor, he’s terrible. more
Formerly a very funny comedian, I remember him at the Drive-in in the '80s and in various subsequent shows. He was a type of trash that was never vulgar, unlike today where if you don't say "fuck" or express stupid double meanings at Zelig or Colorado, no one laughs. A good thriller writer and actually mediocre in his short singing career in the early '90s. After all, he deserves a solid 4! more
Personally, I don't like Faletti, neither as an actor nor as a writer. But he writes well, undeniably well. To claim that the novels aren't written by him but by a "university professor from Rome" is to deny the obvious beyond any limit of intelligence. It makes no sense. more
