From 1979 to 1992, they were able to churn out one masterpiece after another. They wrote an album like Disintegration, which, in my opinion, represents the pinnacle of the '80s. They somewhat lost their way during the '90s but made a definitive comeback in 2008 with 4:13. One of the best bands I've ever listened to, both in their moments of utmost joy and in those of deep pessimism. They are among the few who deserve the adjective "INDISPENSABLE." more
