HE TAKES THE HOUSE TO THE DINOSAURS HIM more
The tombstone of Antonello. In its entirety, it remains a decent little disc, even if it perhaps sounds like a lot of things released during that time. But the songs, overall, are not bad: from the initial romanticism of "Ricordati di me," through the underrated "Correndo correndo" and the mega-famous title track to the concluding, as little known as it is beautiful "Ma che bella giornata di sole," the most successful piece of the album and the last masterpiece by Venditti (before "Giuda," 19 years later). After this, there will be a total disaster, with at least 3-4 pitiful albums in a row. To receive a positive rating (6) again, one would have to jump directly to 2007 ("Dalla pelle al cuore"). Average 3.5 rounded down. more
Annoying like few things in the world. more
Not a particularly beautiful or inspired album, but still with some good tracks. Definitely his best album since 1995 to date. 3 balls out of 5. more
A record named after a bar in Rome can only be a delightful half-hour diarrhea. And indeed, that's exactly what it is. more
The best album by Venditti from 1990 to today: he has finally managed to rise again, earning the passing grade that has been missing since 1988. "Giuda" and "Tradimento e perdono" are two exceptional tracks (especially the former); among the sentimental ones, the most beautiful is "Piove su Roma." The only songs that are a bit lackluster are perhaps the title track, "Scatole vuote," and "Indimenticabile," but overall it's still a successful work. It must be said that, of the last thirty years of his career, this is the only one that manages to reach passing marks. 3 out of 5. more
Triple CD collection with duets and unreleased demos such as "Nuvolari" and "L'operaio Gerolamo." more
Still Dalinian texts. The music and arrangements are not. more
Minor album. "Take Me Like This" and "On the World" are embarrassing. more
Another subpar album but better than "Canzoni." more
Double CD collection of the most significant tracks from the seventies. more
Historic meeting and historic tour. They could have made it a double album, damn it. more
Great album. Ironic and brilliant. Worthy of the brother. more
Fantastic album recorded under the trullo Sovrano of Alberobello. more

From self-combustion more
Truly terrifying... probably the lowest point of the entire career. Things like "INRI", "Rimini", or "Due dita sotto il cielo" are worthy of spontaneous combustion... at least there was "Malinconia d'ottobre", quite nice. Average 1.5 more
The pieces are really beautiful, but the arrangements are still a bit too raw for my taste... I slightly prefer the later Guccini. Anyway, 4.5 more
