death, thrash, groove are okay. very little to save from power or prog. honestly, the classic stuff is pretty bad, especially the 80s kind. not to mention glam and its tacky derivatives: the death and total negation of the concept of music. judgment pending on black. I also discovered that the "hardcore" metallers who walk around dressed in black and studded are not just a legend but actually exist still today in the looming 2012: and they are the most pathetic thing in the world. more
