An excellent drummer, unfortunately very underrated by almost everyone. Not a virtuoso for sure, but live he was great (just look at his performances at Earls Court in '77 and at the Rainbow Theatre in '74). As someone has already said, he could have easily had a career without Queen. Epic are his falsettos in songs like In the Laps of the Gods and My Fairy King. Unfortunately, I should lower the rating for the numerous and annoying Queen projects post-Freddie, but I’ll stick to rating Taylor from the '70s.
