Bark Psychosis -Hex
The best post-rock album of all time. more
Shawn -D-Murder
I didn't listen to it all, but it's roughly at the level of the JusWrite album... more
Rodan -Rusty
There's no denying it, they really studied the lesson well.
Grade: 8.5 more
Mick Harvey
He plays drums, guitar, piano, keyboards, and more; he is an excellent composer, also great as a solo artist. Oh, immense Cave, mythical Bargeld, but for me, the heart of the Bad Seeds has always been him. Essential. more
Blixa Bargeld
New skyscrapers collapsing, leaving behind wicked seeds. more
Wayne Shorter -Adam's Apple
After Juju and Speak no Evil, another masterpiece by Shorter! Rating: 9 more
Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds -Kicking Against The Pricks
In the '80s, Cave always scored a 5 or, in the worst case, like in this album, a solid 4.5 rounded up. It was already known that Cave was a fantastic interpreter ("Avalanche"), but here he proves to be extraordinary. The covers are all, and I mean all, excellent (the wonderful "Hey Joe" transformed into a descent into the abyss). The Bad Seeds, need I say more, are a band with balls, the guitar madness of "All Tomorrow's Parties" is monstrous. A beautiful album. more

After several minutes forced to listen to crappy music on TV, hearing "Somebody I Used To Know" was almost like stumbling upon a piece by the Red House Painters. more

Simon and Garfunkel -Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
Another great album from the duo. However, among all their albums up to 1970, it's, after the first, the one I like a little less. "Scarborough Fair," "Mary, Whatever May Find Her," "Patterns," and "Homeward Bound" are nonetheless outstanding tracks. more
All Saints
Yeah, come on, they were a useless little bunch! more
