If this is our answer to world music, well... it's a bit lacking... okay, the lineup is impressive: Phil Manzanera, Jon Hassell, Paolo Fresu, Dave Gregory (XTC), Jan Maidman (Penguin Café Orchestra), Peter Hammill (Van Der Graaf). But the result is really just a long lullaby without backbone, low in sodium and even heavy in the lyrics. Maybe I'm wrong, but this album is truly overrated... more
