Mike Rutherford
Absolutely remarkable bassist and 12-string player, a bit bland on six strings, acceptable composer, nothing more. However, he plays his part, and well, at least until '77. more
Tony Banks
Great keyboardist as much as a show-off, arrogant and egocentric. Hackett has not infrequently managed, with one of his guitar interventions, to elevate great pieces that were previously dominated by Tonio's presumption (a glaring example being Firth Of Fifth). In the early years, however, he did a great job (Trespass, Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot), and that must be acknowledged. Ah, he was the one who brought the Genesis into the mainstream. more

NO
Sometimes I say it just to see the disappointed face of the person in front of me, like: Can I have a gum? NO. Or: Do you care about me? NO. Again: Can you hold on for a second? NO. Can you pass me the salt? NO. Is the bathroom free? NO. Wow, what weather, huh? NO. Oops, I gained a hundred grams, should I leave? NO. more

Rage Against the Machine
A decidedly groovy rhythmic base that doesn't quite allow me to categorize them among the masters of '90s crossover. Listenable, but nothing exceptional. Morello is a good guitarist, the drums are the standout element of the bunch, and the rapper is decent. I've learned not to read the politicized lyrics. 3 more
