The beginning of the Stones' peak period (or messiness). The path is set: Rock 'n' roll, Blues, Country, R&B, Folk, with Jones' influence increasingly diminished, and the (likeable) diabolical duo becoming ever more in control. A masterpiece. more
Immense. more
The best of the best toppers. more
Once you enter the Cave of Nicola and his wicked little friends, getting out is tough! more
I really appreciated how this wonderful retrospective was curated (by Endino) to showcase the spirit of Nirvana: it reminds me of a reflection made by the Wipers about the fact that only with something extremely raw can one achieve a crystalline purity. more
I have a conflicted relationship with this album. I must say it’s beautiful, but I can't listen to it all the time. Back then, I found it soporific. Now I love it. And to think it's the only album of theirs that I adore; the others I've listened to leave me completely indifferent. No information about the cover. The booklet consists of semi-transparent white pages of paper, like the kind used to wrap cheese. Strange but quite fascinating. more
Damn! more
Wonderful from the first to the last note, especially highlighting the great The Musical Box and The Fountain of Salmacis... I've let them gather too much dust lately, I think I will listen to them much more. more
Mysterious group from the Faroe Islands ???. The equipment used in their work is entirely homemade and reprocessed in the studio. They have two works to their name, the second one "Oro" is a small masterpiece of dark avant-pop with an industrial heritage. ORKA - Tað vakrasta

Filthy misery how much it gets on my nerves. How much it gets on my nerves. How much it gets on my nerves. He’s not a human, he’s a crutch-holder. Except for the very last episodes, there I noticed his actual existence. But in a series like this, he too is welcome, him and his shit cereals. more
How much it annoys me when he cuts the edges of the toast. And then, why does he only cut them after filling them? :-DDDD more
Revolutionary vocal harmonies in their simplicity. An essential influence for dozens of artists since the Sixties, with Simon & Garfunkel and the Beatles leading the way. Is that enough? more
Crazed bastards, massacring them in "Halo" was a real thrill... more
The first work from that twisted mind of Stu Spasm and his brawling companions. I'm afraid it's been out of print for years. Filthy noise-blues from Australia... Never was a title more fitting for an album. more
Commercial ones these? If only all commercial bands were like this!!!!! more
An excellent singer-songwriter, both in lyrics and in music. His appearance at Sanremo gave him the visibility he deserves. The dialect, which I am learning thanks to him, is his strength but also, I fear, his limitation. Fully approved. more
Their humor starts to show the passage of time. They’re still a bunch of geniuses, though. more
A genius, a person light years ahead of his time. His ability to analyze and critique reality has no equal in the history of music. more
