An amazing singer-songwriter with a beautiful voice, as well as the composer of some of the best albums of the '90s ("Little Earthquakes," "Under The Pink," "Boys for Pele," and "From the Choirgirl Hotel"), plus that beautiful gem "Scarlet's Walk" in the '00s. Unfortunately, however, her downward phase has also arrived, although she still produces something noteworthy (the latest "Night of Hunters" and songs like "Ophelia" and "Maybe California"). more
Well done, not much to say. "The Downward Spiral" is an outstanding album and just for that they deserve a 5. The rest may not always live up to their potential, okay, but not everyone reaches a peak like that. more
The "basement songs," a masterpiece by Dylan and the Band for sure. The best things always come from fun and "messing around," and this album is the absolute testimony to that... more
Aphonic and also the author of one of the most cringeworthy summer hits ever (in comparison, "Waka Waka" by Shakira is a masterpiece, which says a lot!). more
Great live album, but they don't seem like the VDGG of old; at times I hardly recognized them. Beautiful "Ship Of Fools," but the whole album is intense and felt, especially the leader's voice. more
Not bad in itself, a good producer (even if he has very little imagination when it comes to making a beat for others) who alternates pleasant things ("Happy") with others that are incredibly irritating ("Blurred Lines," probably one of the worst songs ever). more
Great artist, this is the purest example of it. It's a shame that drugs took him away too soon, what a great album... more

I prefer the previous ones, but this is a great album as well. more

Angelic voice, a drop of purity in an ocean of noise, and "Grace" her one and only authentic gem of rare beauty. Dad Tim was definitely from another galaxy, but not just in comparison to him, but almost 95% of the singers of the time. Jeff is still a great. more
Absolutely awesome. His epitaph. more
The Godard of the Nouvelle Vague is CINEMA, as far as I'm concerned. And the final scene of "Alphaville," a flash of feeling after 98 minutes of robotic inhumanity, is THE Scene. more
A surname, good taste in music, and not much else. more
For me, it forms the essential pair of the Trees alongside "Invisible Lantern," without taking ANYTHING away from the splendor of "Uncle Anesthesia" and "Sweet Oblivion," and I challenge anyone to find a weak record among these four. Anyway, as a solo artist, Lanegan has matched (at times surpassed) these levels at least twice. more
My favorite of his, but not the only one I adore, because here the gentleman had not yet lost that zappa-esque/crazy streak from his early days. True Rock'n'Roll, scandalous lyrics, a continuous flirting with the macabre (see "Dead Babies") and not a single subpar track. But the Masterpiece is "Halo Of Flies," which is a Suite in every sense. more
I don't dispute the talent, the class, the historical merit, the records and so on.. But I am physically unable to endure Latin Rock, or whatever you want to call that way he plays that fucking guitar.. more
In jail! Voice of a hysterical turkey + delay mats that are broken. Better the dirty mat of my car. more
