DeBaser’s reviewers chart Decapitated from the jaw-dropping youth of Winds of Creation to the groove-loaded lurch of Organic Hallucinosis. Praise centers on precision, drumming, and production; criticism targets repetition and lack of originality on some records. The Negation and Organic Hallucinosis get strong nods, while Nihility and Carnival Is Forever draw mixed reactions. Overall: formidable technique, uneven inspiration, enduring presence in European extreme metal.
