THE REVIEW

The Polish band Decapitated comes to delight us with this truly bone-crushing album! I should state that we certainly don't find innovation for the genre here, the five (until recently four) unleash such a power and great anger that they contribute to making this record anything but overlooked.

Another difference between them and the mass of extreme bands is that the guitarist manages to strike perfectly with his riffs, and the solos are well embedded in the sonic mayhem. The beginning is chilling with a small intro of a few seconds that unleashes "The Fury", which I think is the most fitting song of the entire release. The other songs hold their ground and manage to keep the listener's attention throughout the CD, leading up to the concluding "The Empty Throne"... a repetitive and hypnotic boulder.

Frantic rhythms and double bass drumming sowing panic! This "The Negation" is truly good, played and produced excellently. Of course, step forward all of you who hammer your ears every day.
Brutal souls, serve yourselves!
