❝ Coal Chamber can, in a sense, be considered the purists of nu metal: throughout their rather brief and tumultuous career, they released only three official albums and never showed any ignoble tendencies towards easy listening, not even when nu metal was a genre of mass consumption.
❝ What emerges is a surreal and horrific atmosphere, an unrelenting psychotic rage, with dark tones (amplified in later works) that make the album a real gem for fans of the genre.
❝ In short, I hope this "Quick Review" was enjoyable and makes you want to listen to Coal Chamber even more, a band that represents nu metal in all its characteristics.
