Everyone has listened to or at least heard a track from this album at least once in their lifetime.

If you're not like "Everyone," then you probably haven't watched enough movies.

Especially those produced from '99 to about 2004.

Ah... Those were the good times......

Anyway, I'm sure the whole generation X loves Blink.

The real ones though.....And not the "shitty" ones from 2012/13.

Those goofy, superficial, punkish Blink.

Those Blink from Enema.

I wouldn't want to undermine their musical composition skills, also because I love them........

However, I am convinced that at least 40% of their success should be attributed to the contribution of their producer and great friend, Jerry Finn.

That man was (I say "was" because, for those who don't know, he died in 2008 due to a brain hemorrhage) a freaking genius.

That man created the pop punk sound of the 2000s.

He knew how to enhance the damn four chords on which Enema of the State is built (an album I would sleep with if it were a person)............

The album is cool, very cool.......

But, of course, it's an insane commercial hit.

The singles chosen from the 12 tracks are:

1) Dumpweed;

2) What's my age again?;

3) Adam's song;

4) All the small things.

For three of the four singles, a video was also produced (for all except Dumpweed).

I'm surprised they didn't decide to release "Don't leave me" or "Aliens exist" as singles too.

The singles are all powerful.

"What's my age again".......well......it's the classic pop punk/pop/shit four-chord anthem, but the video makes the piece, overall, memorable.

"All the small things".....is the backdrop track of the video where the band members have fun mocking stars of the era like Aguilera, Spears, and the Backstreet Boys.

"Adam's song" is a piece dedicated to a fan of the band who took his own life after writing a letter admitting he could no longer live peacefully.

"Dumpweed" is pure joy.

That said, I think that after "Going away to college," the rest is not too noteworthy.

The album is light and beautiful.

I recommend everyone to listen to it.
