I was 16 years old and I was a DJ, returning from work at 3 in the morning on my scooter...
Now I'm 30 years old, I have a degree, I work in an office, I'm getting married within a year and starting a family...
This is just to tell you that I have less and less time to listen to music (besides, I'm increasingly moving towards classical); let alone to write on forums and similar places.
However, tonight Iâm feeling generous and I want to give you this review: I won't describe the piece, you might as well listen to it. I assure you though, this record will remain a testament to the decade it belongs to.
As far as I'm concerned, along with no more than another twenty (I mean Kind of Blue, A Love Supreme, Hendrix Experience, Selling England By The Pound, Wish You Were Here, etc... For the younger ones, consider Joshua Tree and Document; for the babies, Neverland and Siamese Dream), a "contemporary" album that will presumably accompany me until retirement.
Maybe I listen to it every two or three years, but I listen to it. Goodbye.
Listening to Moon Safari by Air is like looking at the world through a glass of champagne.
Air opens the doors to a new way of making electronic music, becoming masters and inspirations to a generation of musicians.
Moon Safari is a masterpiece! 10 perfect tracks, 10 musical jewels selected in a single album.
This album is like a drug! It creates addiction, you listen to it when youâre happy and when youâre sad.
