The music, when it hasn't been used for bullshit like religious rituals, military functions, or to ease the fatigue of work, has had and continues to have above all a sexual function. A hoopoe intoning an erotic song in the midday light, the sweet whistle of a horny dolphin in the ocean, the pelvic rhythm of an Egyptian dancer or of true rock'n roll (the original kind) are all things that should give pause to those poor wankers who love metal music. Chicks are interested in music that makes their hips move, it's no coincidence that there are very few female metalheads and that those curious rarities are almost always hopelessly unattractive (except for a brunette from Milan with a size-five chest named Cinzia that I had a good time with). A debaser with fewer metalheads is a sexier debaser.
