I signed up for DeBaser mainly for classical music. I dusted off my old stereo system with the legendary Advent speakers from the 80s and so, for a few months now, I have been able to listen to the great collection of classic LPs that my dear dad left me.

I especially love Spanish composers who, with their works, evoke beautiful memories of my beloved Spain, where I lived for several years...

Russian composers in general, and particularly those of the Mighty Handful, are also among my favorite authors.

  Hi @[DebbyAnn] ... well, if you only listen to classical music, it seems that you might be much more knowledgeable than us... or me, I also have many classical LPs but no more than 200 or so... my favorite is Bach... I've always adored him for his timeless music... he had a way of composing that is unmatched... so much so that every piece reinterpreted in a rock style remains very faithful to the original... but I also love Stravinsky and Beethoven... of course I don't have specific expertise in classical music. However, it attracts me, sure I have my fixations and many composers don't appeal to me, but I can say that I like it.

  I don't just listen to classical! I also enjoy blues and jazz, but it comes in phases. Right now, it's a classical phase. Among my favorite composers are the Russians, and I have a soft spot for Beethoven, even if it might seem redundant to say; how can you not love him?
  PS. But what's going on between you and Stanlio? I hope I haven't stumbled into a place full of 'teasers'... I generally don't like arguments.
