Already from the first track, Hypnotized, you can understand what this album is made of. A syncopated rhythm that runs at full speed, around which warm keyboards and a jazzy "cotton club" piano wrap with style. Over everything is the perfect female voice that unfolds words with great coolness. Then there's the "coda" with a beautiful sax solo that stylishly closes the track. In this case, the word hypnotized could be associated with the listener. Apart from the opening track, Zanghi's album (a bassist and double bassist who wrote all the tracks and carefully selected the collaborators, above all the invaluable Claudio Castellari, who took care of the arrangements) flows with great style between nocturnal ballads like Warlock and, in the tracks sung in Italian, with episodes of songwriting with clear and notable singer-songwriter ambitions, as in “Libera il cuore” and “Strana città.”
