Yanni (Yiannis Chryssomallis) is a Greek composer and keyboardist known for instrumental/new-age music and large-scale live concerts, notably the 1993 Live At The Acropolis performance.

Born November 14, 1954 in Kalamata, Greece. Began releasing albums in the 1980s. Best known for instrumental, new-age works and large live productions such as Live At The Acropolis (1993). Publicly noted as largely self-taught and reported not to read traditional musical notation.
