What happens if one of the biggest groups in the category decides to make a bold move and finally achieve the success they deserve?

Just take a look at the new work of Within Temptation "The Heart of Everything" from which the first single "What Have You Done" was drawn, which even had, uh, the honor? of accompanying the advertisement for a popular series on Italia 1. And how many metal bands have achieved that?

All thanks to a lyric that's more inspired than ever, winking at what's labeled as "commercial," but which is actually one of the best songs of Within. Metal guitars provide a backdrop to the voice of Sharon den Adel, much improved since last time, accompanied by the perfectly fitting male laments of Keith Caputo from Life of Agony. The lyrics focus on the relationship of love, the vicissitudes, the troubled relationships, on the "what have you done?" that is so often repeated in the catchy chorus: "What have you done? I've long waited for someone like you. Why does fate make us suffer so much? There's a kind of spell between the two of us" that transports the lyrics from the dreamy works and more epic of previous albums to everyday life and to the gothic new school of Evanescence inspiration.

To finish, on the cover is an image taken from one of the two videos (a whole two!) accompanying the promotion of the single, always with the participation of dear Caputo.

But dear Within, what have you done?
