THE REVIEW

Surely many of you have a faint and faded memory of the American band named Wheatus that struck platinum in England with the song Teenage Dirtbag. Wheatus are back with their third self-produced album, which is fundamentally the same as the second, only two songs have been added (Hit Me With Yer Best Shot, William Mcgovern).

An album that is very enjoyable and far from the commercial and fake successes of recent times. Away from Blue, Nirvana, Avril Lavigne, and the worst that modern music society offers, Wheatus's is an album clean from any subliminal messages or manipulation by the major record labels. In fact, it was produced by the band itself, and is available for purchase online.

For me? The rating is 5 out of 5, for the courage shown by this group, in the era of record labels, to self-produce.
