THE REVIEW

Among various messages from the well-known app, whose name I won't mention, I find a link sent by a friend inviting me to listen to an EP titled Future by an obscure musical project called Vicolo Chiuso Astratto, a unique name that piques my curiosity. And so, I go on to listen to the 5 tracks that make up the work. I find myself immersed in spatial atmospheres, with electronics dominating the scene from the first to the last track. The journey begins with Start, a track just over a minute long that evokes dreamy atmospheres, then making way for Apokalypse, which takes the listener on a game of effects and sequencers. If Frontiere, placed midway through the journey, is the most difficult track to interpret, with a kind of loop that repeats always the same amid similar pauses, the highest quality point of the album is reached with Horizon, two minutes of enveloping sound that seem to want to lead to other dimensions, before closing with Voyage, a track slightly inferior to the previous one for the writer, despite having a good development.

Overall, the review appreciates the project's atmospheric depth and experimental nature.
