Urania

The Profile

Urania is a musical project led by Giulio Sangirardi with contributions from Mimmo Mellace. The debut EP Kainua (5 tracks, just under half an hour) presents instrumental, British-derived psychedelic rock with layered guitars, pulsating drums and active bass lines.

Giulio Sangirardi is part of the Post Contemporary Corporation; Mimmo Mellace is a former member of Parto Delle Nuvole Pesanti; the band's sound is traced to experiences with Votiva Lux.
