THE REVIEW

A boy feels pain.
He has so much energy inside, and he risks being crushed under his own anxiety and inner dramas.

Another boy, transforms this pain into a guitar riff, converts it. Shortly after, the rhythm section joins in and the game is on.

A boy tries hard to be a man
His mother takes him by his hand
If he stops to think he starts to cry
Oh why?

The tragedy that changed Paul's life makes him an indomitable fire. A raging river.

From the first notes of their first single, the aforementioned raging river, it immediately sets the record straight. U2 is not just a simple punk band, they are something different.

From the lyrics, their search for escape is evident and I will follow is the perfect example.

I will follow is the only song by the Irish quartet to remain a constant in every tour and almost every concert.

Although it was written as a suicide note by a fourteen-year-old, it is an anthem (one of the many U2 anthems) of liberation, of releasing pain in the form of pure and positive energy.

Paul still screams "I will follow" as if it were the first time.
They are still there, with the same energy and dynamics, doing what they do best.
Keeping the Unforgettable fire alive.
