Tytan is a British heavy metal band associated with the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. The group recorded the album Rough Justice; personnel mentioned in sources include Dave Dufort and Kevin Riddles, and at times musicians such as Les Binks and Simon Wright were involved.

Associated with the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). Rough Justice was reissued in 2004 by Majestic Rock (noted in reviews).

DeBaser hosts one review of Tytan that praises the band’s sole album Rough Justice as a melodic, epic slice of NWOBHM with refined production. The review highlights tracks such as "Rude Awakening", "Money For Love" and "Forever Gone". The album and band are described as underrated and largely forgotten despite a 2004 reissue.

For:Fans of NWOBHM, 1980s heavy metal and collectors of underground heavy albums.

The Tytan were born in the early '80s from the dissolution of the glorious Angelwitch who, after writing Metal history with their first self-titled album, decided to retire from the scene.
