Here is another band that knows how to engage the audience (if you get the chance, go see them) and that knows how to make people talk about them.
We're talking about Turbonegro, the legendary Norwegian band hailing from the most underground and depraved parts of Oslo, now reaching their fifth album, and representing the true icon of the "gay metal" movement (at many concerts, they shove glowing creams up their butts and do not hide their passion for anal sex).
The album overall is not bad, but it is definitely inferior to their previous works (even though the production and sound are almost identical).
In summary, we can say that Scandinavian Leather is lacking in surprises and is yet another album of sick rock. There are certainly songs that stand out and stick in your head, like Turbonegro Must Be Destroyed (a song born as a reaction against the press in their country) or the single Fuck The World, a track of pure rock'n'roll at full speed, but unfortunately, in no song can you feel the atmosphere of the early albums.
It's a pity, we expected more. We still await the next work to judge if they are already in decline.

The album, let me tell you right away, is a blast, and just as Elio e le Storie Tese said at the beginning of their debut album, watch out that it doesn’t blow up your ass.
The ironic Turbonegro Must Be Destroyed is an invective against those who see Turbonegro as something negative, unable to understand the sarcasm and dark irony that the band conveys.
