Ethiopian pianist-composer and Ethiopian Orthodox nun (born 1923, Addis Ababa; died 2023, Jerusalem). Known for intimate solo piano works blending classical forms with Ethiopian modes, collected on Ethiopiques, vol. 21.

Her family was exiled by colonial Italy to Asinara in 1937; she later took monastic vows, adopted the name Tsegué‑Maryam, and earned the honorific Emahoy. Her recordings feature sparse, lyrical piano with echoes of Chopin and German Romanticism.
