LA RECENSIONE

I am writing this to insult this group. Signed by Roadrunner Records, Trivium produces "Ascendancy". I still haven't figured out what genre they play.
Listening to "Pull Harder On the Strings of Your Martyr" maybe I do. It's a sort of Punk-Death. It starts with two guitar strums and then you hear Matt Heys' voice screaming like a madman (similar to the vocalist of Suffocation) and then he attempts a chorus in the style of Green Day.
I move on to the other songs and realize this band is a poor imitation of In Flames and Dark Tranquillity.
I'm sorry I got it, good thing I borrowed it.
Don't buy it.
