First listen to "Broken Imaginary Time" on vinyl and struck by lightning, it's been so long since I felt the urge to listen to the same track 10 times in a row!
I pick up the album and the magic repeats... The tough grind of being an opening act around Scandinavia and England since 1994 has truly borne fruit in this third work by the six Swedish guys, the musical maturity shines through in every single vintage detail and space-psychedelic riff.
Their music reflects many recognizable influences: from the proto-garage of the Stooges to the pop of the Beach Boys and even pinkfloydian diversions, all masterfully shaken into songs with an ancient and very modern flavor at the same time.
The psychedelia and vintage-sound addicts will love it, as will all those whose musical roots lie in the sixties and seventies. It's time to burn some incense, light up the lava lamp, and relax to the soundtrack of your life.
