THE REVIEW

Fantastic, let's pretend to be Claudio Sorge or Vittore Barone - I'm better at being Claudio Sorge -

What are you waiting for, lovers of the 1980s English new wave? Rush to buy this 1987 pop-psychedelic gem by the Scottish Shamans, creators of an apparently simple album: on the first listen? Nothing! On the second? Nothing either. Maybe on the third, MAGIC unfolds!

Do you know the feeling of a Wire's 154 unveiled? Well, maybe that's too much, but it's to give you an idea. I listened to it again today just out of good reviewer's duty: the songs hold up, excellent psychedelic pop, drum-machine echo-guitar effects and bass in the foreground - Syd Barrett R.I.P. -

I swear it's worth getting!

A fine album of psychedelic pop with strong new wave influences.

Starting from a BARRETT cover and ending up on a dance floor is quite a journey.
