With a bit of delay, I'm about to talk to you about the work of The ScareCrew, released a few years ago.
The band from Cagliari, which undoubtedly represents a noteworthy phenomenon in the city's music scene, has other albums to its credit.
It took me a while to assimilate the 11 tracks that make up this album, and I probably haven't done it completely yet: it’s not an easy listen for my ears, despite The ScareCrew being fully part of the "old school" band scene together with Wicked Apricots and company.
The line this album follows is that of old Garage Punk: see tracks like the concluding Tears fall red and Shine, characterized precisely by very Garage sounds (though it's hard to compare them to more famous bands). The song I'll Come Again a Legends, my favorite track.
Shattered, (good Feelings) is also good, carefully placed in the middle of the tracklist.

Overall, "From the Gutter" is a decent album considering the limits of a self-production. The remaining songs are appreciated for their greater energy, while still staying within the genre.
I happened to see this band during my holidays in Sardinia, and even though I don't passionately love Punk, they managed to win me over.
