THE REVIEW

Fortunately, nostalgia exists!

In recent years, it has captivated the three policemen, prompting them to bring out precious memories of their collaboration from their archives. In this case, Copeland has condensed 50 hours of super 8 footage into a total hour and a half "inside the band". From '78 to '84, the trio's ascending arc is variously shown from their punk-mercenary beginnings, early American tours for a total of 200 dollars per concert, the transition from motels to hotels, stops at gas stations with Andy's zombie-like incursions, early recognition in the USA and England, and many other images.

The glue is essentially the live songs audible in various qualities of audio recording, plus some studio songs and Copeland's Derangements that give a new guise to the trio's known repertoire. Enjoy the film plus the extras on the DVD... and especially Sting, handcuffed on a Parisian rooftop, blaming Copeland as the cause of his problems!?
