The Hilliard Ensemble

The Hilliard Ensemble was a British vocal chamber group renowned for historically informed performances of medieval and Renaissance music alongside contemporary commissions. They recorded extensively for ECM and famously collaborated with saxophonist Jan Garbarek on Officium. The ensemble disbanded in 2014 after a farewell tour.
