Listening to this album transports you to the sewer of music. I couldn’t possibly be clearer than that. This is the dimension you are transported to when you listen to Showcase Come Alive, the record by The Dice, a Power pop/Rock'n'Roll band from Ferrara. To be even clearer, this record does not deserve the attention of true music enthusiasts and those who know what real music is. 'How do I know these things?', the critics of my reviews and what I write may ask: simple, I attended one of their concerts (which I only did because I had a promise to keep [namely, to have them promoted on Radio Atlanta Milano, my favorite web radio], otherwise I would have stayed home playing and minding my own business). Let’s be clear that playing music is not for everyone (and this record demonstrates that with absolute clarity and effectiveness), before going to record such a disc, one should listen to records that explain several things, especially for singers and instrumentalists. These are two albums by Ian Anderson: Divinities. Twelve Dances With God and The Secret Language Of Birds, truly important albums that deserve all the attention in this world, especially because, as I was saying, they explain many things.
