On Saturday the 9th, the concert of Subsonica, a Turin-based band active since 1996, was held in Piazza Galimberti in Cuneo. A large crowd was present, both because of the huge fan base that the group has built over the years and because the concert was free.
At 10 PM, Subsonica promptly took the stage with the instrumental "Terrestre" playing in the background, a song that gives its name to the album released a few months ago and which has already climbed the charts of the best-selling records. As they began to play, the rain started to fall, causing some trouble for the band, who indeed asked the audience for a moment to rearrange their equipment.
Time flew by and after about ten minutes, Subsonica returned to the stage, continuing the show with tracks like "Abitudine," "Giorni a perdere," "Ratto," "Corpo a corpo," "L'odore," and "Gasoline" (which allowed the drummer Ninja to perform a magnificent solo), "Vita d'altri," "Salto nel vuoto," and "Incantevole," all from their latest work. During the songs, five maxi-screens projected evocative images with the purpose of immersing the audience in the right atmosphere of the song.
The most famous pieces from the old repertoire were not missing ("Colpo di pistola," "L'errore," "Disco labirinto," "Tutti i miei sbagli," "Strade," "Nuvole rapide," "Il cielo su Torino," and others) entertaining the audience for almost two hours.
A note of merit certainly goes to the organizers who ensured that parking for cars was available and monitored, and who distributed water bottles during the concert, contributing to making this live show an unforgettable experience.
