Songs: Ohia was the primary musical project of American singer-songwriter Jason Molina (1973–2013), active in the late 1990s and early 2000s, combining indie rock, folk and Americana with melancholic songwriting.

Jason Molina led Songs: Ohia as his principal recording and performance project. Some recordings (notably The Lioness) were made in Glasgow with contributions from members of Arab Strap. Molina performed both solo and with bands; live reviews on DeBaser document solo shows and fuller-band performances that prefigure The Magnolia Electric Co.

DeBaser's reviews portray Songs: Ohia as a deeply melancholic, intimate project led by Jason Molina. Reviews praise albums such as Ghost Tropic and The Lioness and note memorable live shows. The writing emphasizes sparse, desolate atmospheres, fragile vocals and Americana/indie-folk aesthetics.

For:Fans of melancholic singer-songwriters, indie folk, Americana and alt-country.
