There are bands that, using the overused and inflated formula of metal+hardcore+melodies, album after album without producing anything different, make a decent amount of money without giving the more discerning ears even a glimmer of originality that might distinguish the offering in a saturated market full of copycat bands, raising the doubt of "soulless creatures," that is, bands that make music created ad hoc to sell during a period "open" to certain sounds.

The story of Sky eats Airplane is a different one: the project, born as a duo between friends, namely Brack (vocals) and Scott (guitar), both Texans and without any record contract, recorded these nine tracks that make up "Everything Perfect on the Wrong Day." The offering, partly standard Metal-Core, partly schizophrenic sound akin to Test Switch Isolator and Between The Buried and Me, has an additional electro element, a delightful "gimmick" that gives substance to all the compositions. Listen to " Honest Hitchhikers...", "Giants in the Ocean", " She is just a Glitch" (the latter with added strings), and the song that names the album to notice how elements of Drum'n'Bass, Dance, and other electronic arrangements spice up an interesting and enjoyable album.

In short, a band to watch, we'll see what they come up with in the future. The singer is no longer part of the project after the release of the album, and there is the intent to become a "canonical" band in every respect.
