Skiantos are an Italian band from Bologna, guided for years by Roberto “Freak” Antoni, and widely credited as pioneers of rock demenziale—punk spirit, satirical bite, and deliberate musical primitivism. Their infamous Bologna Rock ’79 stunt (cooking and eating pasta onstage while taunting the crowd) sealed their cult status. Cornerstone albums include Inascoltabile (1977), MONOtono (1978), Kinotto (1979), and the polished return Signore dei dischi (1993).
