The Sinergy are a Finnish group led by Ms. Kimberly Gross. Among the members of the group, we also have the legendary Marco Hientala, bassist and second voice of Nightwish from Century Child onwards.
The group offers a mix between power and heavy metal.
The CD opens well with “Venomous Vixen” and “The Fourth World,” the first being heavy, the other more power. Then it’s the turn of “Born Unto Fire And Passion,” a track dominated by violins but it feels out of place on a CD. “The Warrior Princess” is the best track of the lot. The title track moves more or less on the same levels while “Razor Blaze Salvation” is a very predictable ballad; moreover, Gross’s voice seems anything but suitable for singing slow pieces.
“Swarmed” is the most power-oriented piece where keyboard sections make the song decent. “Pulsation” and “Virtual Future” close the CD without leaving a trace.
The CD is not poorly produced, quite the contrary, but the tracks, after the second listen, reveal themselves to be boring except perhaps “The Warrior Princess” and “Swarmed.” Furthermore, the tracks evoke very little emotion. Maybe if listened to once a year (or thereabouts), the CD could turn out to be fun. Maybe.
