Fijación Oral by Shakira.
Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of Shakira... but I have mixed feelings about this album. I've heard a lot about this Fijación Oral... many even praise it as her best, for heaven's sake the Colombian has shown she can do worse BUT ALSO MUCH BETTER. Let me explain: no one criticizes the beautiful "en tus pupilas" or the poignant "no" but a song like "escondite inglés" says little to me. It's an album that is rather short (10 tracks) and it's sad to say that all the tracks that convince me the most are also on "Oral Fixation vol.2", only that if in the first volume the other tracks, except "no" and "obtener un si", are rather bland while in the second volume the other unreleased tracks are much more colorful and engaging (in my opinion). More than a review it's an opinion, I hope a nice debate can develop in the comments section.

'La pared' ... starts slowly, then intensifies the percussion in the chorus, which I repeat is wonderful, sung in Shakira’s unique low register.
'No' chorus is spectacular: 'No se puede vivir con tanto veneno, la esperanza que me da tu amor no me la dio más nadie, te juro no miento.'
