Formed in Atlanta in 1994 (initially as Crawlspace); enduring lineup: Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar), John Connolly (guitar), Vinnie Hornsby (bass), Morgan Rose (drums). Survived the nu metal wave while evolving their melodic/heavy blend. Truth Killer was released via Napalm Records and produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette. The band previously worked with Rise Records (Blood & Stone era). “Thank You” received a Grammy nomination in 2016. Side projects include Call Me No One (Rose/Lowery) and Projected (Connolly/Hornsby with Scott Phillips and Eric Friedman). Name changed due to a Crawlspace namesake; financial troubles followed WineDark Records’ collapse in 2006. Hit Parader ranked Lajon Witherspoon No. 35 in its Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time.
