Sensations' Fix

Sensations' Fix is an Italian space-prog group formed in Florence in 1973 by Franco Falsini (guitar, keyboards, vocals) with Richard Ursillo (bass) and Keith Edwards (drums). Their debut Fragments of Light (Polydor, 1974) is often cited as the first Italian space rock album; 1974 also saw Portable Madness and the self-titled Sensation's Fix. Keyboardist Stephen Head joined by 1976 for Finest Finger; later releases include Flying Tapes (1978).

The solutions undertaken in "Finest Finger" represent a notable evolution, far from a misstep or commercialization.

With this album, Sensations' Fix did not transform into the Italian counterparts of the Rockets... instead they provided a good demonstration of coherence and produced an excellent product.
