Sebadoh is an American indie rock band formed by Lou Barlow (after his early tenure in Dinosaur Jr.) with Eric Gaffney; Jason Loewenstein joined as a core member. The group is widely associated with lo-fi aesthetics and influential early-1990s independent releases.

Lou Barlow was bassist in early Dinosaur Jr. and later formed Sebadoh. The band is known for lo-fi recording techniques and significant early-1990s indie albums such as Bubble & Scrape, Bakesale and III. Sebadoh released new material as late as 2013 (Defend Yourself).

DeBaser's reviews praise Sebadoh's lo-fi indie-rock songwriting across several landmark records. Highlights include Bubble & Scrape, Bakesale and Harmacy. The coverage mixes affectionate nostalgia with clear appreciation for the band's rough-edged creativity.
