Samiam are an American punk rock band from Berkeley, California, formed in 1988. Anchored by vocalist Jason Beebout and guitarist Sergie Loobkoff, they emerged from the 924 Gilman scene and built a catalog that spans from the raw urgency of Billy (1992) and the major-label Clumsy (1994) to You Are Freaking Me Out (1997), Astray (2000), and Stowaway (2023).

Formed in 1988 in Berkeley, CA; core members Jason Beebout (vocals) and Sergie Loobkoff (guitar). Associated with the 924 Gilman Street scene alongside Green Day and Jawbreaker. Released Clumsy (1994) on Atlantic; following a label split, You Are Freaking Me Out (1997) was issued by Burning Heart, with Astray (2000) also on Burning Heart. Stowaway was released in 2023 by Pure Noise Records. Reviews compare their sound to Fugazi and Hüsker Dü and note Beebout’s dynamic, emotive vocals.
