American alt-country/country-rock band formed by Ryan Adams in 2004. They released Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights (2005), the EP Follow the Lights (2007), Cardinology (2008), and the archival double Cardinals III/IV (2010). The Cardinals returned to live activity in the 2020s.
