Atom Heart Mother
If phrases can make a review
and almost all then filled with praise
to talk about what people love
this time I'll try to sing it in rhymes
So here I am about to play the record
a bountiful source of thieving emotions
I've been listening for years and I'm amazed
in front of the Atomic Heart of Mother
For me, perhaps, this is the most coherent
work of Pink Floyd, and the most choral
from the suite (there's not a sour note),
to their three songs, all special.
To close the concept then is placed
the puzzling collage of sounds and noises
It's Alan having breakfast,
psychedelic are his flavors
Era and school from '70 made
It reached the first position in the chart
Brass and choirs make an impact
Quadraphonic, and I'm scattered in the room
Bucolic its presentation
Lulubelle III looks at me menacingly

And A Fat Old Sun was already shining
in that Summer of beautiful Sixty-Eight
